Georgetown Tennis Falls to VCU and Delaware

Box Score 1 WASHINGTON - Georgetown's tennis programs completed competition against the VCU Rams and the University of Delaware Blue Hens over the weekend.

Women's tennis (2-6, 1-1 BE) fell 4-0 in its road match against VCU on Friday and dropped its match on Saturday against Delaware, falling 5-2. Freshmen Julia Chu and Ruhika Bhat secured two singles points for the Hoyas with victories over Delaware's Paulina Jurkowska and Navya Vadlamudi.

The men's tennis team (1-7) lost to Delaware by a score of 5-2 on Saturday. The Hoyas secured the doubles point with the pairings of Arthur O'Sullivan and Cyrus Zia, along with Joshua Lamm-Bocharov and James O'Sullivan capturing wins. J. O'Sullivan had a standout performance, going undefeated for the day. He also won his singles match against Itamar Tapiro with a score of 6-4, 6-7 (0-5), 6-3.
