LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's tennis took two points in its 5-2 loss to Michigan State on Sunday evening. With the loss, the Bison moved to 6-6 overall.

After dropping the doubles match at the No. 2 spot, the Bison took the matches on court one and court three to earn Bucknell the doubles point and an early 1-0 lead over the Spartans. Abby Platt and Riley Jennings completed the weekend sweep of doubles win as they took their third in a row, this time with a 6-4 victory over Morais and Parkins-Godwin. Following their win, Cameron King and Natalie Devraj defeated Blackford and Fazlagil 7-6(8) at the No. 3 spot.

Michigan State then took five of the six singles matches of the night. The lone Bison victory in singles play came at the No. 6 spot as Devraj defeated Purser 7-5, 6-3 to earn an undefeated night against the Spartans with wins in doubles and singles play.

Bucknell will next take the courts in Hawaii for their spring break competition trip as they face Hawaii on Sunday, March 8 at 6 p.m. ET and Chaminade on Monday, March 9 at 5 p.m. ET.
