A member of India's 1983 world cup winning squad told Dhurandhar actor Rakesh Bedi to help arrange tickets for the sequel.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been ruling the box office ever since its release last week. The sequel to last year’s blockbuster Dhurandhar has reportedly grossed Rs 800 crore worldwide. Such has been the hype and craze that even batting legend Sunil Gavaskar has not been able to procure tickets for the movie.

Dhurandhar actor Rakesh Bedi revealed that he met Gavaskar, the member of India’s 1983 ODI World Cup winning team, who requested him to arrange tickets for the hit sequel.

“Yesterday I met the great sportsman of India Sunil Gavaskar. He told me that he hasn’t been able to get tickets for the movie and asked me to do something. I’m trying to arrange some tickets for him. I hope I’m able to." Bedi said in a video on Instagram.

Bedi, who portrays the role of Jameel Jamali, is basking in the glory of the movie’s unprecedented success noting how it has been shattering records for fun.

“I’m proud to be a part of this film, Dhurandhar. And I must say that Dhurandhar has not only broken, not only shattered, but devastated all kinds of records at the box office. And also it’s penetrated deep into the hearts of the people of India and around the world. It’s not only a commercial hit, it also making an impact on the Indian masses, Indian people who have seen the film. The reactions, the collections are unprecedented, unheard, unparalleled." he said.

Bedi has one request from the cinephiles: Stop recording clips from the movie theatre and sharing it on social media.

“I have one request to make that please don’t shoot the scenes of the film while you’re seeing it and post on social media because they are spoilers. And especially don’t talk or shoot the last scene of the film, the climax of the film and put it on social media because that’s not right. You know that’s being a spoilsport." he said.

“I again I request that please don’t shoot the scenes of the film and post on social media. That’s not right thing to do. You have enjoyed, let the others also enjoy now. Thank you." he concluded.
