According to sources, five companies have been declared technically qualified to participate in the bidding process. Officials said strict protocols and transparency measures will be in place throughout the auction to ensure a fair and credible outcome.

The qualified participants include Wally Tech and M-Next Inc, both of which previously took part in the Hyderabad and Sialkot franchise auctions last month but were unsuccessful. CD Venture and Particle Ignite have entered the PSL auction process for the first time.

Adding further interest to the process, Ali Tareen, the former owner of Multan Sultans, has re-entered the bidding. Tareen stepped away from the franchise last year following differences over franchise-related matters but is now seeking to regain control of the team.
