Put down is weird, Tamale seemed to pull up close to the line and nearly gets held up by Walker but he gets it down in the end.

Hosking makes an error on the exit set and the Rabbitohs have a shot at replying.

Humphreys makes an error but the ref rules it was stripped. But two tackles after the tap Hubner puts it down...only for Tamale to lose it two tackles later!

A Souths error gives Canberra more good ball. On the last tackle Starling pokes a kick through and Young is the only one there, he scores!

Canberra have first points. They needed it after all the posession they've had. Sanders nails the kick and it's 6-0 Raiders.

Tamale makes an error on a Walker bomb and the Rabbitohs have the first chance of the day.

Duncan nearly pulls his way through but Canberra pull him down and on the last Murray gets belted as he tries to kick it and the Raiders hang on.

A few tackles later Mitchell gets Sasagi high. Raiders on the attack.

The Brisbane Broncos could look unrecognisable for at least next week's clash with the Wests Tigers as Pat Carrigan's ban for a high tackle adds to their growing injury list.

Already without Reece Walsh (broken cheekbone), Adam Reynolds (groin) and Ben Hunt (knee), Broncos hooker Cory Paix could be sidelined after being diagnosed with category 1 concussion symptoms, while back-up hooker Blake Mozer broke his jaw trying to tackle Jason Taumalolo during Brisbane's 35-31 loss to the Cowboys.

Carrigan was then hit with a two-game suspension for a high shot on Tom Chester, which he can fight at the judiciary, but losing would risk a three-game ban.

The Broncos are already missing potential halves and hooker replacement Billy Walters after he underwent an off-season knee reconstruction and utility Grant Anderson, who could cover multiple backline positions, including five-eighth.

Coach Michael Maguire said the team was shocked by Paix's category 1 diagnosis and they "will go through the right channels with the doctors and review that one".

"I think Paixy will be fine for next week," he said, while also saying he thought Carrigan's tackle was fine, perhaps hinting at a judiciary fight.

Souths are 1-19 as named on Tuesday with Keaon Koloamatangi lining up in the front row.

Lots of changes for the Raiders. Backline is as named but Ata Mariota starts at prop with Josh Papalii on the bench, Zac Hosking starts at second row and Noah Martin is on the bench and Morgan Smithies starts at lock for Corey Horsburgh.

After four straight losses it's not a surprise to see Canberra change things up. Will it work? This Raider certainly hopes so.
