A look at what Jurgen Klopp is doing after his departure from Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 seasonJurgen Klopp is enjoying life away from Merseyside after departing Liverpool last summer. However, the iconic manager has not ruled out a return to Anfield as his former team continues to struggle domestically.Klopp stamped his name in Liverpool folklore with his run as head coach, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, two League Cups and the Club World Cup. In January 2024, he announced he would be leaving the Reds at the end of the 2023/24 season and has since gone on to become the global head of soccer at Red Bull's footballing franchise.Klopp's new life is certainly more relaxed compared to the hustle and bustle of Anfield as he is in the process of opening a new sports centre in Liverpool with his company Padel FC. The Berlin-based firm, owned by the ex-Reds manager and his son Marc, are planning to open a new "state-of-the-art" padel facility at Wavertree Sports Park.READ MORE : Jurgen Klopp-backed padel centre set to come to LiverpoolOPINIONKlopp doesn't just own a padel company; he also participates in the popular sport and is often seen playing in exhibitions alongside some of the sport's biggest stars. Recently, the 58-year-old played alongside Argentinian tennis star Gabriela Sabatini at an event in Mallorca. The duo competed against Rafael Nadal's uncle, Toni, and Denise Hofer, losing 21-19 to the European pair. Speaking to Spanish media outlet Última Hora after the tournament, Klopp said: "I met her [Sabatini] yesterday and I never would have imagined being on the court with Gabriela and Toni, and also with Denise."Three former tennis players and a former footballer on the same court... that only happens in padel. The beauty of this sport is that everyone can play it. It's growing a lot in Germany; I play it because I enjoy it... and because afterward, I don't feel any pain!"However, Klopp may swap the peaceful life he has created for the chance to return to Anfield in the future. Fans have been growing concerned at Liverpool's form recently, with some even calling for the iconic manager to return.Speaking to the Diary of a CEO podcast, Klopp didn't completely snub the idea of heading back to Liverpool in the future. He said: "I said I would never coach a different team in England. So that means if, (I did return to England) then it’s Liverpool. Yeah, theoretically it’s possible."The former Reds manager wouldn't need to find a place to stay if he did return either as the Merseyside property he used to reside in still remains unsold. Liverpool put the six-bedroom home in Freshfield, Formby up for sale over a year ago for £4.25million.However, even after dropping the asking price to £4m, the stunning mansion is still on the market. The home features a swimming pool complex with showers and a sauna, a spa, a gym and a separate building for entertainment purposes. The property, situated on what is known as 'Millionaires Row', has been lived in by many former Liverpool icons. Ex-manager Brendan Rodgers was a previous tenant and legendary midfielder Steven Gerrard was the original owner of the property in 2005.For the latest news and breaking news, visit liverpoolecho.co.uk/all-about/liverpool-fc.
