ICC Announces Star-Studded Commentary Panel for T20 World Cup 2026

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed an impressive list of former legends and current stars who will form the commentary panel for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.

Leading the commentary team are highly respected voices Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop. They will be joined by several former T20 World Cup winners, including Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite.

Current player Temba Bavuma, who recently led his side to victory in the ICC World Test Championship, will also feature on commentary. He is joined by Angelo Mathews, a member of Sri Lanka’s 2014 T20 World Cup-winning squad. The commentary team will be used across all 55 matches of the tournament.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will begin on February 7, with matches hosted across India and Sri Lanka. ICC will deliver a world feed service to broadcast partners, ensuring consistent and high-quality coverage across all markets.

ICC.TV’s coverage will include a full broadcast package featuring pre-match shows, innings interval programs, post-match wrap-ups, and daily highlights. This coverage will follow the tournament from the opening match through the knockout stages and conclude with the final on March 8.

Viewers will be able to watch every match through comprehensive broadcast coverage. The tournament will be produced by six dedicated production crews operating across eight venues in India and Sri Lanka, supported by eight broadcast kits using up to 45 cameras to capture the action with greater detail, accuracy, and editorial flexibility.
