Islamabad Issues Traffic Advisory for Tri-Nations Cricket Series

Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the Tri-Nations Cricket Series, which will begin on November 18 and continue at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium until November 29.

Authorities said the movement of cricket teams between Islamabad and the stadium will affect traffic flow during match days. More than 300 Islamabad Traffic Police officers will be deployed to manage traffic during the series.

Officials warned that movement of teams may slow traffic on Expressway and Srinagar Highway, especially during peak hours. Commuters have been advised to leave with an extra 15 to 20 minutes of travel time.

The traffic police said it will make every effort to ensure motorists face minimal inconvenience. Real time traffic updates will be provided through Islamabad Police’s official social media pages and FM 92.4.

Authorities urged residents to cooperate with officers and show patience during team movement and match timings. Citizens can report emergencies by calling Police Helpline 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915.
