PHILADELPHIA – Following standout performances, three members of the Drexel men's and women's tennis teams were named as Costal Athletic Association's Player of the Week in their respective categories.

CAA WOMEN'S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK

Adva Dabah and Lorie Lemongo

Dabah and Lemongo helped Drexel earn the doubles point in both matches last week. Playing at the No. 1 position, the Dragons duo edged Penn's Joleen Saw and Esha Velaga, 7-5, to pick up the lone point in a 5-1 setback to the Quakers. In a 5-2 team victory over Lehigh, Dabah and Lemongo downed Maggie Forkner and Hannah Letzer, 7-5, before adding two more wins in singles.

CAA MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Tarek Mo Erlewein

Erlewein went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles last week to lead Drexel to victories over Morgan State (7-0) and Villanova (7-0). In singles, he cruised past MSU's Rhajzon Rankins, 6-0, 6-2, and topped VU's Cooper Gordon, 6-1, 6-2 to improve to 3-0 on the season. He also teamed up with Will Burridge at No. 1 doubles for a 6-2 win against MSU and a 6-3 triumph over VU.

The men's team will return to the courts on February 4 to face St. John's University in Queens, while the women's team will host FDU on February 13.
