The England cricket team will begin its T20 World Cup 2026 campaign at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 8 with a Group C fixture against Nepal.To be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the T20 World Cup 2026 matches will be spread across venues in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Colombo and Kandy. The two semi-final winners will meet in the final to contest the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 title on March 8.The T20 World Cup, first held in 2007, is in its 10th edition. England won their maiden title in 2010 and became the first men’s team to hold both ODI and T20 World Cup titles simultaneously after lifting the trophy again in 2022.England also finished runners-up in 2016 and reached the semi-finals in the most recent edition in 2024, where they were knocked out by holders India.England’s T20 World Cup 2026 Group C fixtures will see them open their campaign against Nepal in Mumbai on February 8, followed by a clash with the West Indies at the same venue on February 11.They will then move to Kolkata to face Scotland on February 14 before wrapping up their group-stage campaign against Italy on February 16.With two T20 World Cup trophies in their cabinet, England rank among the most successful sides in the shortest format.
