Weston play The Whites in National League South

Weston will be looking to get back to winning ways following the Good Friday 3-0 defeat at home to Torquay United.

The Seagulls head to Wiltshire looking for the three points to get back into the play-off picture, and Weston’s recent away form has been good following the recent victories at Ebbsfleet United and Maidenhead United.

Salisbury were also in Good Friday action as they were defeated by two goals to one at local rivals, AFC Totton. Former Weston player Will Buse lined up between the sticks, while Noah Coppin was up front for The Whites, and Coppin is now Salisbury’s all-time record goalscorer after joining from The Seagulls in 2023.

Earlier in the season at the Optima, in late December, Weston beat Salisbury by a goal to nil after Louis Britton’s early winner.

Since gaining promotion from Southern League Premier South in 2023/24, The Whites are now nearing the end of their second season in Step 2, and Brian Dutton’s side look safe from relegation as they are eleven points clear of fellow Wiltshire club, Chippenham Town.

This is Weston’s penultimate away game of the National League South campaign, and hopefully The Seagulls’ players will once again have plenty of vocal backing in Wiltshire.
