Endrick in Beast Mode: Outperforming Messi and Mbappé, Closing in on Neymar

The arrival of Endrick in French football has been nothing short of spectacular. The Brazilian forward, loaned by Real Madrid to Olympique Lyonnais, has taken fewer than ten matches to establish himself as one of Ligue 1’s breakout stars.

In his first six league appearances, he has recorded three goals and three assists — numbers that surpass the early French performances of Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. Mbappé needed five matches to score his first Ligue 1 goal with Monaco and contributed to five goals in his first six league games with PSG. Messi scored his first Ligue 1 goal on matchday six.

Endrick has also shined in domestic cup competition, adding two goals and one assist in two matches. Only Neymar enjoyed a more dominant Ligue 1 debut, producing six goals and five assists in his first six outings in Paris.

The former Palmeiras star has not only impressed statistically but also delivered in big moments, assisting twice in the heated clash against Marseille.
