ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team wrapped up its fall competition with the final day of play at the Navy Invitational.

Hector Fullone and Jakob Gaudreau Barnes were winners on Sunday, taking down Kai Edwards and Daniel Seo of the host Midshipmen in a tiebreaker.

The matches wrap up a weekend of play that also saw Othman Bezzaz and Ernesto Ruy reach the quarterfinals of the ITA East Sectional Doubles Championship.

"I couldn't be prouder of Ernesto and Othman taking down the 29th-ranked doubles pairing in the country from Clemson," head coach Jeff Puhan said. "All of their hard work is really paying off.

"All of the guys have worked so hard this fall. It's a special group; we still have a lot of work to do, but they are up for the challenge. We're looking forward to the spring season-opening trip to North Carolina."

The Hawks return to competition in January when they visit Elon and defending national champion Wake Forest.
