BYU football star Parker Kingston granted bail on Washington Co. rape charge

BYU wide receiver Parker Kingston was granted bail by a Washington County judge after he was arrested following rape allegations.

Kingston, 21, was charged with first-degree felony rape earlier this week. The charges came after a year-long investigation that started in February 2025.

The football star was originally held without bail; However, state prosecutors agreed to release him on conditions with $100,000 bail.

Upon his release, Kingston would be subjected to a gps ankle-monitor and required to leave Washington County. He would only be allowed back in Washington County for court appearances.

The court also ordered Kingston to have no contact with the alleged victim or potential witnesses, whether that be directly or through a third party. He was also barred from using social media while the case is pending.

An attorney representing Kingston agreed to the terms, saying he plans to leave the county immediately upon release.

Kingston's next scheduled court appearance was set for Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m.
