Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has officially opened his scoring account with the Portugal U-16 national team. The young forward found the net in a 3-0 victory over Wales at the Federation Cup tournament in Turkey, marking a major milestone in his budding career.

The eldest son of global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo—currently with Al-Nassr—started the match and broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute. His shot with the right foot hit off the left post before crossing the line, a finish that quickly went viral on social media through the official channels of the Portuguese Football Federation, who highlighted the “family lineage” of the rising talent.

This triumph marks Portugal’s second consecutive win in the competition, after previously defeating hosts Turkey 2-0—also a match in which Cristiano Jr. made his first appearance for the national team. The Portuguese squad will complete their participation in the four-team tournament on Monday, when they face England in their final match.
